Safari African - Dumfries

The food here is fantastic, but the wait times are frustratingly long. I placed my order over the phone 30 minutes in advance and still ended up waiting nearly an hour for just three orders of fried rice.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. My first experience was good enough for me to return, but my second visit was a complete disappointment. The customer service was terrible. I waited nearly 40 minutes for my food, while others who arrived after me were served much quicker. I noticed that Americans seemed to be waiting even longer. There was no apology for the long wait, and the staff displayed no sense of urgency. The portion sizes were small and overpriced; I was told how much they pay for the meat, which is why I only received two beef cubes on my plate and a quarter of a fish. I won’t be coming back! I recommend taking your money elsewhere.

Hands down one of the BEST African restaurants around. Authentic taste from start to finish 10/10 recommend!

Food was surprisingly good. Customer service however, ehhhhhhhh..... wait time, double ehhhhhhhh!!!!!
