Hubbub Cafe - Dumfries Galloway

I had a fantastic experience at this cozy cafe in Gracefield Arts. There was plenty of room between tables, allowing for a comfortable atmosphere. I was able to enjoy a pot of tea and homemade mint rocky road before they closed. The selection of cakes looked delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. I was able to relax and dry off after getting caught in a downpour without feeling rushed. After my meal, I had the opportunity to explore the exhibition and shop, which had a wonderful selection of local crafts, high-quality art cards, and gifts. Overall, a great place to visit.

I took my children to Hubbub. The staff was very friendly, they had a wonderful assortment of tray bakes and cakes, and the coffee was the best I've had in the local area.

I stopped in for lunch after admiring the artwork and had an amazing soup and sandwich combo, delicious coffee, and a scone. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was fast. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant with plenty of seating. The only downside was that they only accepted cash, but it wasn't a major issue given their affordable prices.

Can't fault the lovely pot of tea with enough for 3 large cups accompanied by a peppermint slice, one of a dazzling array of traybakes on offer. However I was glad that I had kept my cup and saucer on the tray before pouring the tea as it was impossible to pour without some of the tea dribbling down into the saucer and tray from the badly designed (yet thankfully not stainless steel) teapot spout. Just to add to the mess the trendy milk jug was a bad pourer as well. Still worth a visit in a nice setting although the Atrs Centre is under review from the local council so it is unclear for how long the cafe will be open.

We only popped in here for coffee and cake but get the impression they serve far more than that. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
