Great place with some really tasty food and reasonably priced. The fish and chips is very good but you can also eat pizza or soup or burgers and not be disappointed. We visited it as a family of 5 and had a great experience. Food was good, the staff was brilliant and prices were very reasonable.

The mixed reviews appeared to be unwarranted, as our service was excellent and the meal was hot and delicious. I ordered the sausages and traditional fish and chips, both of which were tasty. Overall, it was a good experience!

On a Sunday evening in Stranraer, where can one eat? Starfish is the place to go. We enjoyed a baked potato with cheese, salad, and a diet soda for only £8. The portions were so large that they couldn't fit on the plate! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, when I tried to order food at the Chancellor of the Customs House in the city at 8 PM on Friday, they had already stopped serving. I was directed to the Starfish café and I would definitely recommend it. It's a convenient option if you're looking for a good meal before catching the boat to Belfast, with plenty of seating available. I dined in and enjoyed a delicious fish dinner and coffee for only £7. They also offer other tasty options like macaroni potatoes, lasagne, and spaghetti.
