Barbours Department Store - Dumfries

Always has been a great store and it still is. Great selection of womens and mens clothing and accessories. They have a very good cooking department plus a really good restaurant. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

We're lucky to have our own department store in dumfries. stock all big brand emma bridgewater, rieker, phase eight etc. that can be expensive, but they always have a great deal to sell. restaurant has a good choice of food and very cheap also. friendly staff are always helpful.

I had an excellent experience with customer service in the men's department. I wanted to buy a suit but had no idea what I wanted or where to begin. Ross helped me right away—he was enthusiastic without being pushy and provided me with numerous options. After trying on several pieces, I was extremely happy with the entire outfit, which matched perfectly. I also appreciated the attention to detail regarding the length, which was part of the top-notch service. Overall, it was a first-class experience!
