This has happened twice at this establishment, but considering I have lived in this area for 32 years, two mistakes is not too bad. Nobody is perfect.
I had the most professional drive-thru experience ever at this restaurant. The woman at the window took the time to carefully verify my order, checking each item individually.
The dinners were pretty good, the dining area was clean and nice, the staff were knowledgeable and proud of the food. The overall atmosphere at the Dunbar, West Virginia store was great. I would highly recommend them over any other seafood restaurants.
The fish was like fish strips the size of a straw and it was about 98 .batter. it tasted just ok but that's just the spices in all that batter. Peel the batter back and you will find very little fish. Cold slaw was good and the hush puppy's just ok. You get a lot more fish at Long John's. Service was just ok. But that's the way most places are anymore. People dont smile or laugh anymore. So many people are struggling to just survive and pay for gas to get to work. Everybody cant live close to work. Most people are hurting and just trying to get through day. We need to be very thankful and appreciate the people that go to work.
At first it wasn’t too good I didn’t understand a lot of the foods there bc I had never been to a Captain ds. James is a very good employee and very respectful and helpful while working with and made sure ever was good all in all 5/5.
