Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I don't eat here very often but we had a friend retiring so we all went for breakfast. The food I had was very good. The staff have always been very friendly and very helpful. This particular location is very convenient for folks that are traveling as it's right off the interstate. I hear they even serve beer now. Wow!

We came here for dinner the other night and even with a larger party we were seated quickly. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We loved the fresh warm biscuits and our food came out in a timely manner and we all really enjoyed our dinner. The gift store is always fun to peruse and you can find all kinds of fun treasures in it.

After an 8 hour drive back to SC, we decided to stop to get food to take home so I ordered online, parked in a takeout spot, called the number on the plaque outside SEVERAL times to let them know I was there, couldn 't reach anyone, watched a few cars get their food brought out to them, after 10 mins of trying to get though a young girl answers the phone, I say: I 'm here to pick up my order and she days Ok and hung up, waited almost a total of 30 minutes, my husband finally goes in, they couldn 't find my food, my fish was cooked so hard that I couldn 't eat it, loaded hash brown casserole was just shredded potatoes with melted cheese on top, my husband 's loaded baked potato only had cheese melted on top as his piece of chicken swam in turnip green juice... I did get well cooked broccoli and turnip greens out of the visit. It just irritated me that I tipped them for such sorry service.

First time here to this particular location on a busy Sunday afternoon. As always did the mobile app check in got there waited about 7 mins for our table the floor at the table we was sitting at was so filthy dirty and dingy my shoes constantly was speaking to the floor doesn't look like it's been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. My Second issue was our waiter was wearing headphones and only brought me my sides I order for my meal not my pancakes that I ordered and our bill was still wrong after he fixed it the first time had to have a manager fix the bill very dissatisfied for how much we paid I understand they are short staffed but overall wouldn't come back to this particular location again.

We waited for 20 minutes without any server coming to our table. When we asked another waitress for help, she promptly informed our server (we saw her do it through the doorway). After waiting another ten minutes without any sign of our server, we noticed she wasn’t busy with other customers. When she finally approached us, she made excuses and was extremely rude when we inquired if there had been a misunderstanding. She harshly stated that she could get the manager if necessary, and we agreed that would be the best course of action. The manager was understanding and assigned us a new waitress, who did her best, but it was clear she was overwhelmed after taking over our table. The poor experience with our original server has ensured that we will not be returning to this location.
