Dairy Queen - Duncan Falls

The staff tries to push orders out the window too fast. Mushrooms were still half frozen and one tasted rotten. Sundae was good.

The speaker for the drive thru doesnt seem to work properly so its hard to hear the order taker.I was met with such rudeness I've never experienced at DQ before. Fix your speaker and stop copping an attitude with customers who werent rude to you in the first place! Will not be returning.

I ordered a double cheeseburger, shake, Oreo cupfection, mushrooms, and a large fries. The waitress forgot to bring the hot dog, so I had to reorder it once we received our drinks. The burger was not very warm and the mushrooms were partially frozen. After 40 minutes, we still hadn't received our fries. Finally, a chef cooked and sent out our food. Another worker took care of the front counter and made our drinks. A third worker took care of the back and packaged our food. Because of this system, nothing seemed fresh and everyone had to wait for 10-15 minutes before their orders were completed. The food ended up mixed together and portions were either reduced or extra.

This restaurant is everything a good Dairy Queen should be. It is owned, operated, and primarily staffed by members of an extended family. I have fond memories of visiting a Dairy Queen on the outskirts of town as a child, and this place carries on the traditions of Dairy Queen every day in every way. It's perfect for a quick pit stop for a Blizzard or cone, or you can go all out with a full meal. We may not be discussing haute cuisine, but we sure love talking about Dairy Queen.
