Sweet Frog - Dundalk

The Good: This place is always a go-to for ice cream for my family. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors and dozens of topping you can choose from--from gummy bears and chocolate chips to sprinkles and various fruits (like strawberries and blueberries). The employees are always nice and respectful and the establishment is always spotless when I frequent it. They even had crayons and paper out for the kids. The Bad: I have nothing bad to say about this place. Judgment: This is a great place to get ice cream. I recommend this place.

What did I like: They had a decent selection of flavors and toppings. The staff was kind. The store appeared clean. What I wished was better: The toppings were stale, specifically the pretzels and Kit Kats. The yogurt was a bit runny. The price was outrageously high. Overall, I would not recommend this location. I was sad, I have best to other sweetFrog locations and had positive experiences, but this location left me disappointed.

The product is decent, but the prices are excessively high. My friend and I ordered small cups, which were filled adequately but not overflowing. The total came to over $20, and there were hardly any toppings. This is outrageous. I can easily go to a nearby place and get a large cup of soft serve for half the cost.

When you’re done, you weigh your cup at the cashier’s stand, and your total is based on the weight of your creation. The fun doesn’t stop there! After you pay, you get to choose a spoon – options include bright green, bright pink, or even a color-changing one, which was a huge hit with the kids! I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because several of the frozen yogurt flavors were out of stock during our visit. Additionally, there was no indoor seating, which was a bit disappointing. I understand the need for caution during the pandemic, but having a few socially distanced tables would be ideal. It was quite cold outside, making it tough for the kids to eat their treats on the curb. Instead, we ended up crammed in the car, managing melted ice cream and toppings spilling all over the place. Despite these drawbacks, I highly recommend this place for a fun outing or a special treat!
