Shopping on King Street, talking to a shop owner (can not remember the shop name ...if we were visited by Windsor, they strongly recommend that we try The Jet Cafe. We shared our experience of the continental breakfast of the hotel (yuk! We tried everything. What a great discovery. And the local institution is always a bonus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu has so many options. I had the classic bacon and eggs where my niece went for the Perogies. Served with haash brown and toast. A large selection of coffees was also fascinating. From “high octane” to “French vanilla”. Yum. The homemade kitchen was very appreciated during travel. We tried to work our schedule to be back in the area to go for lunch here. Maybe next time. When you arrive, place your order to the counter. Where to pour your coffee of choice. You get a number and they'll deliver your food to the table. Where you are surrounded by works of art by local artists. All are also for sale. A very interesting place to visit and the food is fantastic. We look forward to the next time we're in the area.
Stunned on this place, while a stop in Hamilton with the family and it was a very surprising find. Prices are very reasonable, food is excellent and counter service was fast, efficient and friendly. We tried a bit of everything and were very impressed by almost everything. The pancakes and the French toast are some of the most fluffy I have ever tasted and the Hollandaise on the eggs Benedikt was perfection. The domestic frits were very well cooked (in contrast to most places where they either undercooked and soggy or overcooked and rock hard). The only complaint I can even Senker is that the Jet McMuffin was quite fat, but it still tasted really good. They have a wide range of help themselves to pick up coffee and even some sweet treats for the street. All in all, it was a pleasant stop for a hungry crowd!
This place serves amazing food. The price is perfect. However, the washroom must be improved. The doors must be replaced. The restaurant itself needs a facelift.
I love breakfast at The Jet Cafe in Hamilton Downtown. The food is fresh and tasty, a large selection coffee, and make sure you order the steak and Eggs breakfast that has been made perfection. The frits are crisp and very good and the orange...jam is the tip. Can't say no if someone asks me if I want breakfast somewhere in Hamilton. The Jet Cafe!
Stayed overnight after a concert in Hamilton and wanted good food at reasonable prices. We found it here, plus a selection of premium brewed coffee.
