Mitchells Tavern - Dunedin

The food at this restaurant was excellent! The staff were all friendly. We enjoyed both the chicken breast and the battered fish, and both dishes were incredibly fresh. The beers and ciders on tap were also very refreshing!

The staff is helpful and friendly, but I was really disappointed the other day when I ordered some oysters. They were much smaller compared to the ones on my friend's plate. When I mentioned it to the staff, she explained that the oysters haven't been as good this season. I believe they should lower the price or at least offer extra oysters on the plate.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for the past two years, and it’s such an excellent place. The amazing staff and the laid-back atmosphere really set it apart. They genuinely appreciate their customers, which is why I keep returning. I also love the food—great prices, and I’m a big fan of the roast pork!

Thanks to the management and staff at Mitchell's for an outstanding night in the function room for a family birthday. The great service, food and hospitality were appreciated by all who attended. Special mention to the Chef, Waitress and Bar Staff. You are a credit to the hospo industry and to the Mitchell's Tavern crew.

My flatmates and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we're totally stuffed with food when we left! Thanks for the great food Mitchells! Desserts are superb
