Nando's Octagon - Dunedin

I have Nando's chickens for almost two decades in different parts of the world. The food is fine, but the customer service here in Dunedin Nando is the worst. I ordered online today and came 15 minutes late, but it will take 15 minutes. I came late since I never got my order on time, but 30 minutes too late is too much. I was advised today by staff that I should not rely on the notification that my order will be ready at a certain time as these notifications are sent by default. This is a lame excuse.

Spot on hot chicken with Peri peri chips. Great service and welcoming ambience. Not sure why bacon is in the menu, as many Muslims do not eat in places that could claim Halal food, but have pork products in the premises. Bad decision team Visits for a late lunch on Saturday. Store very dirty, tables with plates and things left by previous diners. Diabolical toilets. Food overcooked, chicken very strictly show that it was left on the grill for too long. Large chips are served in a small bowl. Garlic bread was good. complaint to the manager and he was not interested. This place goes into the great time.

Love the chicken, the spices get in to the bone. Yellow rice is ok, peri peri chips is nice, cooked well. The garden salad is below the standard, the lettuce wasn't fresh, they should check it first before serving to customers. You can have a lot of sauce to choose as an addition. Anyway the place is quite clean and cozy. I'll back next time.

Went here for the first time. I love Nando's In Hamilton but on this visit the lemon and herb flavor on my 1/4 and my wife's was no there . There was more flavor on my son's kids meal bbq tenders.

Not pleasant when the restaurant is littered with uncleared tables strewn with food scraps. Customers including ourselves had to move other peoples rubbish to sit down and restaurant wasn’t busy. Espetada bit overcooked and no capsicum just onion
