The service was commendable; our waitress was attentive throughout our meal. However, the food came out rather quickly—almost too quickly—as we were still enjoying our soups and salads when the main courses arrived. The portions were generous, perhaps excessively so, and I believe they could consider lowering their prices by reducing the portion sizes. All in all, I don’t see us returning to this restaurant in the near future.
1. Leo’s in Palm Harbor is the new restaurant. Leo, the previous owner of the Dunedin location, has sold that establishment. 2. The Dunedin Leo’s is still fantastic. It has a new owner, but the name remains the same. They have a new chef, and the food is outstanding. The rolls come out fresh and hot from the oven. I've been dining there for the past six weeks, and I've been hoping for a less-than-great meal, but that hasn't happened yet. Karen, our waitress, has provided excellent service. I highly recommend stopping by to try the pizza or any of their other dishes. I give it a 5-star rating. RFK
We just got back from the restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The plates and utensils were dirty, and the grated cheese we were served had mold on it! The only highlight of the evening was the band, which we found enjoyable. We used to visit Leo’s regularly years ago, but after tonight, we won't be returning. It’s a pity because it’s lovely to have music and dancing while dining.
