The Grove House - Dunleer

After taking a short break and heading North, we decided to avoid the motorway and take the old road from Dublin, which led us to The Grove for lunch. It has been at least 20 years since my last visit, but it felt like I had never been away. The restaurant serves good, homely food with friendly service. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to be sanitized before being seated in the socially distanced dining room. I opted for vegetable soup and a crusty roll, while my wife ordered a chicken fillet burger with homemade chips. The food was simple and delicious in a cozy setting. The prices were reasonable, and I won't wait another 20 years to visit again.

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The premises were clean and the staff was friendly. The town was charming. I regret not staying overnight.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here a few years ago and recently had breakfast here a few months ago. The service is outstanding, with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent, and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Grove went out of their way to accommodate our breakfast with friends..they opened up early and served a massive breakfast and they were Soo nice..It means so so much just to be nice and welcoming.And breakfast was Soo reasonable in price..I would highly recommend the Grove for any function..

You won't go wrong here for food or even a few drinks great value in food and won't leave hungry highly recommend
