The restaurant is tidy and the staff are welcoming. They serve a fantastic pint of Guinness.

We dined at this bar multiple times while staying in the area and enjoyed both meals. Parking options include street parking or public car parks a short 5-minute walk away.

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We had previously told Caitlin, a waitress, that it was our anniversary and she made sure we were well taken care of. The food was excellent, the Guinness was perfect, and we had a lovely evening overall. As a special touch, we were given lottery tickets and slices of cake as gifts. The hospitality was truly amazing. The menu was also fantastic.

I had a meal at this bar while staying in Dunmanway for the weekend. The bar has a lot of character. The food was delicious and the Guinness was amazing.

Cash only – no cards! Recommended to us, as tourists, by those with local knowledge. Diiner served Thursday to Sunday only, so don’t put this one off. Mary the chef came and chatted about various dishes she could do in a vegetarian style, or with fish instead of meat. The delightful Emma is a real asset to the place and served our table very well, keen to ensure we enjoyed our meal and had a lovely time. The garlic mushrooms on garlic bread were able to be done in a lovely no-garlic cream sauce in a vol-au-vent. We enjoyed mains from the specials board plus the chicken in a whiskey-cream sauce. All lovely food. We gather the wifi is great here – useful for travellers as the cellphone data in the countryside around can be very problematic. Lovely beer garden children play area outside smoking area. We will be back within days.
