I had a terrible experience with the sushi I tried today! I bought two rolls from the Wilkes University cafeteria because I really enjoyed it before, but unfortunately, when I opened one, I found a lot of hair in it. It was absolutely disgusting to discover more than five hairs mixed in with the spicy shrimp. I'm really disappointed and will not be purchasing from there again!
I usually have a great experience shopping here, but today was different. When I visited the deli counter around 1:30 PM, I noticed some new employees. One young man, with his mask hanging off one ear and a toothpick in his mouth, asked if he could help me. I told him that he needed to wear his mask properly to assist me, which earned me a dirty look before he finally put it on. I then approached the customer service desk and requested to speak with the manager of the deli. The young woman informed me that he wasn't available, but she would assist me. She then called him and told him to put on his mask. This is serious, especially given the current situation with COVID!
The grab-and-go prices here are fantastic! I had a spicy tuna roll that came with a generous serving of wasabi and ginger for just $6. It was fresh and absolutely delicious! I almost wish I hadn’t discovered this place because now I’ll probably be coming here far too often.
