Venice Italian Mediterranean - Dunn

Okay so I decided to try the pizza this time. I got a few other things as well. Let me begin by saying I ordered for pick up and it was ready about ten minutes after I got there. Not a big deal because I had no where to be. The server was nice and offered me a free soft drink while I waited. So let first start with the positive.the pizza was good. Two recommendations though. First where was the cheese on the pizza?! It was understand the nice tasting but clumpy sauce. The crusty was nice and crisp kudos and the toppings were good and plentiful. A good pizza especially in these parts. Now let me give props for their really nice please don't put them piping hot directly on styrofoam it Melton melted on the bottom but they were good. The one dish I ordered the tortellini chicken Alfredo I had big issue with. As a chef tortellini is not served al dente. It was half cooked tortellini and was like chewing gum. There wasn't enough sauce to save them. There was a lot of chicken so props. Do y'all use chicken Breast that's fresh or is it canned chicken? It had that gritty taste like canned chicken. It was a good meal though. I love the vodka alla penne I had last time and I love the passion y'all put forth in the food and decor, I'll be back. Sadly they are closed now looks like for good

Always great service. The food has been great. Friendly atmosphere and staff. It's great to have a good Italian restaurant in the area. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out

Awful service and pizza at Paisano's Pizzeria is much better. My friend had the chicken Alfredo pasta was overcooked and the chicken was dry

Had a wonderful lunch here! Amazing pizza and calzone. Cooked by wood-fire in a brick oven. Marinara sauce is home made. Give this place a shot! We loved it! Quality food and for the price point you can’t beat it.
