Comfort Inn Suites Durango

My boss booked this place. the check-in was good. when I came to the second floor, I was covered with the smell of weed (in non-smoking rooms of course.) room felt dirty, lampshades askew, crud on the remote control. the toilet had on the basic pooled pfeifenflecken. black hair on toilet and bad floor. breakfast lady looked reconciled when she got to eat, as people wanted to eat breakfast a few minutes before 6:30. full breakfast not up to about 6:40 then there were mass that the esstic of the esstic area were not sanitated for new guests from day, night before. in my room I could hear the people who walk around in the room upstairs... definitely not stay here again. there are much cleaner hotels near.

A beautiful, clean place to stay. the beds are comfortable and the heating worked well in our room. but do not make the same mistake I made: check whether your pool is opened first! it didn't say anything online about the pool/hirlpool that's open, so I thought it was. it was still a nice place to rest the breakfast was delicious!

Reason for 2 stars... staff was /not helpful at all in giving recommendations/directions not very helpful or courteous at all. Hallways n lobby floors needed some serious vacuuming.The outlet(s) covers were either missing or broken. Comforters had small rips... over looking all that. It was Good night sleep n stores are conveniently located

Room was clean and met our needs. Very basic accommodations; hope for a quiet person in the room above. From the first floor we could hear every sound and movement in the room above ours, and that person was just walking around. Our bathroom fan sounded like it was going to take off. Our recommendation is to take good ear plugs and ask for a room on the top floor on the side away from the highway.

Very nice updated room and comfortable bed. Pleasant and helpful associates. One thing that could use some improvement is the hot breakfast. We really miss the hot breakfast with the eggs, sausage and potatoes. Hope this is back on the menu soon. Also, the security charge for the safe should be an option if staying overnight and not an automatic charge.
