Purgy's - Durango

I waited 90 minutes to be seated and the menu options were limited. More vegetarian options are needed.

The food was satisfactory, but slightly overpriced for the portion size. Our server, Ivy, provided excellent service. The hostesses were pleasant, but appeared disorganized and unsure of what to do at times.

We adored this restaurant in the city of Durango so much that we ended up dining there twice. We made reservations for dinner the first time and walked in for a late afternoon snack at the bar the second time. The food was exceptional, from the steak, seafood, salad, and appetizers, to the tiramisu which was especially delightful. The selection of wine by the glass and whisky was excellent, and the service was friendly and professional. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Loved this restaurant in the city durango so much, we ended twice once for dinner with reservations and once as a walk in the bar for a late afternoon snack. the whole food was delicious steak, seafood, salad, appetizer and especially the tiramisu! the wine-for-the-glass and whisky selection was good and the service was friendly and professional. a great experience!

Purgatory has a very special sentimental place in our hearts. We return this time each year to celebrate (now almost 40 years) being together! Thank you for keeping the setting the perfect place…atmosphere, food service.
