San Marcos Mexican - Durango

Eating and customer service was great. the carnitas street tacos ordered. it wasn't safe to eat here. after reading the reviews, and it is next to our hotel, man and I decided to give it a try. I'm glad we made it. will eat here definitiw again.

My wife and I ate two dinners in san marcos. the first time we went, as it was adjacent to our hotel and we were too tired to travel to the city. wow, we were surprised! the food was delicious (we are from arizona and we know Mexican cuisine! and the margaritas had to die! To round it off, was the heart who served us very friendly and efficient. in the second night we went back because of the first night! we had different plates and repeated the margaritas and everything was fantastic as before! our waitress was excellent. when we return to durango, we go back to san marcos! bob and kandi k.

Surprisingly good. we stayed in the best western hotel next door and none of us felt good enough to go to dinner. I knew there was a restaurant next to the hotel, so I used Google cards to find out what it was called and then a web search to find her menu. I was quite empty when I only found pictures from her menu on her web page, but we needed food and did not want to go to the city for her, so we decided to give him a shot. we ordered 5 tacos to split between us, a mixture of carne asada, pollen asado and black carnitas. they are street taco style exactly what we wanted and they were surprisingly good! my personal favorite was the best. the complete order came with a little green salsa that had only a bit kick to him (it did with jalapenos) that we needed a lot and appreciated. I can't speak for the rest of the kitchen they serve, but we'll definitely order these tacos again.

When I first went, there was no other customer. I'll take care of it right away. but only a few minutes in, I became very comfortable when I started talking to the owner. that was surprisingly very good, because nobody else was there. today I visited the second place. just as good experience.

Our food was delicious! Probably the best Mexican food we had on our 10 day trip and we eat Mexican food almost every day! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars was due to the slow service at the beginning of our meal. Otherwise 5 stars!!
