Capsicum Britannia - Durban

Delicious food! our server nikki was really nice and I will always remember that absurdly yummy bunny: it began to get pretty busy so expect a little wait, but that only comes with a place so good. be patient, it is worth it!

I visited this restaurant earlier this year after many years, and I was really impressed by the Mutton Hase—considering how hard it is to find consistently excellent dishes in Durban. I returned last week to satisfy my craving, and I was once again blown away by the flavors. The dish was spicy and authentic, and I appreciated that there was no annoying food coloring! Just a quick note about the cocktails (especially the Thirsty Horse), which could use some improvement. However, the rabbit dish definitely deserves a five-star rating!

My brother came to Johannesburg and wanted to experience one of Durban's best curry houses. After devouring five portions of mutton, I can confidently say we were not disappointed. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the curry was delicious and flavorful, with just the right amount of gravy – enough to enhance the dish without making it soggy. It was simply perfect! I can't wait to come back and indulge in this guilty pleasure again! Sorry, I didn't take any pictures; the food disappeared too quickly to capture them!
