Saltwater Grill Durbanville

Tom and I visited Saltwater Grill for.the first time despite many varied reports on FB! Our waitron Emmy was very helpful and friendly. She explained the specials to us and the giant prawns were on special. We ordered a seafood platter and requested that they replace the smaller prawns with the giant prawns. We offered to pay extra. The owner Dylan came to our table to advise the extra cost. Service was great and so was our food. We ended off with two coffees. We will certainly be back!

From the start the friendly knowledgeable waitress gave us a sense of good things to come. We were not disappointed. I had the seafood platter which has almost every fish item on the menu. The dish arrived timeously and very well presented. Every bit of seafood was perfectly cooked and butter soft. Chips are chips and rice is rice but even they could not be faulted in the slightest. All in all a perfect evening and a perfect meal with the owner/manager Dylan the perfect attentive host.

Tucked away in Pinelands is this very special restaurant. Not only is the food delicious, the service is equally exceptional. Here's a quick round up on my taste experience: The sesame crusted tuna ceviche starter was the best I've ever had, followed by mussels in THE most amazing sauce, mains was the grilled calamari and hake combo (as I couldn't make up my mind between calamari or fish) with a garden salad and stir fried veg while my husband had the prawn combo with chips (equally as good). There were 4 of us that went (we travelled from the northern suburbs and my sister and her boyfriend from Tamboerskloof) we all agree that even though we don't live in Pinelands it's totally worth the drive and we look forward to coming back for another great evening out. Thanks to Dylan the owner and all those working there for making our evening extra special. We left with smiles on our faces and very full stomachs. This is what a good seafood experience is all about.

Wowwww finally had dinner here. Amazing service, fantastic atmosphere...but the food....wow wow wow out of this world. Thank u Dylan for the best service and most yummylicious food ever. We will be back over and over again

The food was absolutely delicious with stunning presentation. I would highly recommend this hidden gem. The staff was also super efficient and friendly. Keep it up Saltwater Grill.
