Four Points Barbecue Durham North Carolina

I am really disappointed to say this, but I have to. My meal at this restaurant was the worst I have ever had! I ordered the fried chicken, ribs, and sides: mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. I ended up throwing it all in the garbage! The chicken pieces were huge and the ribs tasted terrible and were poor quality. Both meats had a strange smell and lacked flavor. This suggests that the meat was spoiled or expired, poorly raised, and not suitable for consumption. I usually do not eat ribs, but decided to try them as a special treat. I regret it because I felt sick afterwards. The sides were also disappointing - too salty and made from low-quality canned or boxed ingredients. Please understand that I am usually a kind person and hate leaving negative reviews, but they need to know that if they are providing a service and charging money for it, they should strive to offer their best. Serving the public bad and cheap food is a risk of receiving reviews like this. I apologize, but I had to be honest.

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and it felt like home cooking with love added in! The best Brunswick stew I've had in over 20 years. The grilled, tender and juicy brisket was delicious and melted in my mouth. The collard greens were to die for! And let's not forget about the peach cobbler I got to take home for dessert.

Without a doubt, this is the best home-cooked meal I have had in years. The collards, chicken dumplings, BBQ, Brunswick stew, and hushpuppies were all absolutely delicious. Theresa, the woman in charge, is an excellent and incredibly talented chef who takes pride in her cooking and service. If all family-owned restaurants were like this one, I would never step foot in a chain restaurant again. I love it.

I had a few bbq sandwiches. On freaking point! Actually cooked over wood adding great flavor. I read all of these reviews, i agree with excellent hospitality. Pricing for these days was about right, anyone claiming the bbq wasn't good either doesnt like nc style or maybe it was an off day, i didnt even add extra sauce and it was juicy enougb on its own.
