It's A Southern Thing - Durham

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal And got exceptional service at the bar. Tj and Kim(pretty sure this was her name) were amazing and created a great atmosphere. The cauliflower, hush puppies and smoked wings were on point! I suggest the garlicky green beans and Brussels as sides for sure. Banana pudding and key lime pie were a great way to finish! Will definitely be back!

We went for brunch on Sunday. Our server was Kim and she was phenomenal. Superior service! We had the fried waffle balls, fried green tomatoes, chicken fried steak, and Felix's chorizo hot skillet. We were pleased with everything. We would certainly go back. I'm not sure if reservations are required however I'd highly recommend it. There were several people waiting when we arrived. We were seated immediately as we did make one.

So I had heard some great things about the food here, and I'll say that every word of it was true, this is the perfect brunch spot, from the bottomless mimosas, to the food and for sure the service I was not disappointed. I have had a lot of things smoked but wings was not one until now, and I enjoyed every bite, the fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese sauce, wow I would buy the sauce alone, it's not the grocery store pimento that's for sure. I have already made a reservation for my next visit, so I'll be back very soon.

A great atmosphere with delicious brunch and the best **** Mary I've ever had. The tartness and spice were perfectly balanced. Everthing about the fried green tomato appetizer was amazing. The creamy and sharp pimento cheese paired wonderfully with the crispy tomatoes. The bacon jam brings it all together. Will definitely dream about both until I return!

The atmosphere is great. The seating is spacious and comfortable. The staff is polite. The wings I ordered were over cooked therefore tough. The BBQ sauce on the wings were good. The hand cut fries weren't fresh they came to the table lukewarm. My friend had the catfish with rice and she enjoyed her meal. She also recommends the shrimp and grits. Maybe I'll try one of them next time. I haven't ruled this restaurant out, yet.
