I did not know that restaurants existed with this type of big city in durham. I think I have to get it more. the menu was great with a lot of interesting menu items that seem to turn in and out. we started with the brussel sprout court that was excellent. If we were to make them home, we would have them every night. I ordered the fresh tagliatelle with pork and bark. delicious. at the rest of the table were two of the duck roasted rice dishes. also delicious. beautiful portion size also on those. and finally the fried chicken pastry. good part with beautiful chicken pieces on a kissenigen bungalow with all fixines. we had wine, two of the cocktails, and also beer. it was quiet, but somehow quiet inside for a Friday night. I hope that was only a rare thing because everything was great. they would highly recommend the restaurant and hope that we will go back the chanc soon!
For the first time here, as they are connected chefs/front of the house and concept. the menu was not what we expected, but we were pleasantly surprised. as it turned out, we were there for the Sunday menu, the other than a few teller completely different from the rest of the week, and was great. creative names, inventive and adventurous combinations of dingen, but there were too many things to try! we ended up sharing the BBQ plate, which came with generous portions of smoked pork shoulder, bbq beans, disgusting mac and cheese, shiny, and the best cocks that each of us had ever eaten (dressing broth and jowls.) I will go back to any case to try some of the more adventurous tacos like the chickens on these young CIA degrees and hope that they will get traction and a sequence in durham.
My man and I were here for a date night. everything surpassed our expectations. from ambiente and service (danke pete) to excellent eating we would recommend motto to everyone. the fact that the menu changes regularly ensures that we are back.
This was our first time at Motto , and it won't be our last time. Both my husband and I thought the food was imaginative and delicious! You could taste how fresh everything was. The seasoning was excellent...make sure you try the Brussel sprouts and the mushroom pizza with egg yolk. The lamb dish was remarkable! We had two servers. Both were attentive, knowledgeable about the food and personable. They made excellent recommendations. It was a quiet evening, I sure hope that Motto is around for a long time. We can't wait to return!
I met up with a friend at Motto on a quiet evening. We ordered a large BBQ meal, and my friend also got a generous portion of pasta. The portions were maybe bigger than usual because there were few guests, but the food was excellent. Our server was attentive, and the $10 glasses of white wine were a decent size and delicious. I will definitely come back again.
