The Refectory Cafe - Durham

I took a group of friends to this restaurant and we absolutely loved everything we tried! I had a Mimosa, Vegan Cheesecake, and Vegan Pancakes. The food was incredibly delicious and melted in my mouth! It was served quickly after we placed our orders, and the staff were wonderful!

The cleaning product used has a strong odor that mingles with the aroma of the food. Your food is EXCELLENT! However, please consider switching to a different cleaner, as the scent of Fabuloso is quite overpowering.

There was no wait service, but the food was really excellent. I ordered the tuétano, which is hard to come by in the South, and even harder to find a good version, but mine was fantastic. I also tried the potato leek soup, and it was superb.

On the whole, everything was good, nothing outstanding

Nice place to have your midday brunch. The food is good, service outstanding and atmosphere peaceful.
