The Italian Farmhouse - Durham

My table was ready for me on arrival at 12 noon which was when the restaurant opened. The menu was quite extensive. However, on this occasion I just went for the 2 course Happy Hour meal and chose garlic mushrooms, followed by spaghetti bolognese. Both courses arrived promptly and were piping hot. The bolognese was particularly tasty. More than enough to eat, for only £7.99p! I'd expected the restaurant to be quiet at that time of day, but on leaving other diners had arrived. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch and great value for money.

However, at this opportunity I went only for the 2 curs happy hour meal and chose garlauch mushrooms, followed by spaghetti bolognese. both classes arrived immediately and were drilled hot. the bolognese was particularly delicious. more than enough to eat, just £7.99p! I would have expected the restaurant to be quiet at this time of the day, but at leaving other diners had arrived. very pleasant lunch and good value for money.
