Anchor Light Inn - DURHAMVILLE

This restaurant should NOT be on open table at this time as it's a seasonal place. Made the reservation and was NOT aware of this. It was a busy night in the area as there were multiple events at the casino and there were not many options. We had to scramble to find a place to eat after assuming we were all set here. Very disappointed.

We were the first customers there, on a Friday night. But, it filled up quickly! The haddock with a dill sauce was absolutely scrumptious! And my husband enjoyed the fettucini alfredo with broccoli and chicken. Service was friendly efficient until we went to pay the check. We could use no credit card because their machine broke down. We are lucky we had enough cash on us to pay for the meal! Other than that one problem, it was worth the drive for such a nice meal!

We were pleased with the decor as we walked in, interesting, but not cluttered. The food tasted very good, but the side dishes of garlic butter pasta broccoli were served lukewarm at best. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I will return.

Good food, service was exceptional, outside seating on a pleasant night.

Anticipated our arrival and we were seated quickly, although the restaurant was packed. The service was prompt and friendly, despite the bustling atmosphere. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.
