Have just stayed here for two nights, absolutely lovely rustic country pub. Rooms good with everything you need. Very quiet at night, which is good. Was made to feel very welcome by Ian, even though we arrived a little late for food on the first night they went out their way to ensure we got a meal. Well done to Andrew the chef, could not fault your meals, absolutely lovely and good portion sizes. Nice outdoor garden area. Will definitely stay again when back in the area. A lovely pub with equally good food. Had the house burger today. Recommended! For dessert the camembert apple tarte tartin. Yummy! The coffee here is un-English good. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
Stayed in the air bnb out the back and it was well worth the money. Very tidy, homely room with parking available. We didn't eat at the pub so no review for that, but I wasn't terribly impressed with the continental breakfast that was on offer, so opted not to have it. It would have cost £10 and I don't think it sounded like value for money. Obviously I didn't have it, so can't comment fairly, but the option to not have it and not pay for it makes it fair enough. Your choice.
