All right! Now that my full stomach has settled, I am more than happy to give my assessment of this place. My wife and I decided to eat here despite the mixed reviews. As soon as we entered, we were comforted by a rustic southern, very comfortable atmosphere. The place had not many customers, maybe 3 tables were sitting, which was nice for me and my wife, because we are not in a packed, chaotic atmosphere. We sat friendly and asked what we want to drink. I chose naturally sweet tea with lemon because I love sweet tea, my wife got a regular limo. The sweet tea was amazing for my taste, just perfect and no discomfort from my wife on her drink. We ordered our food, I fried the country steak with fries and a few Coleslaw. My wife has the chicken Monterey with a loaded potato potato potato potato. Our food came to us in just 18 minutes after the order. The size of the land Fried Steak took me back. His size took up half of my plate, which made me very happy of course! It was the perfect size to pay well suited for the actual decent price. The food was amazing! The chicken was juicy and tender and well seasoned. The land fried steak was perfectly boiled, a beautiful crust on the outside with some delicious white pepper Gravy I wish it had more Gravy haha . Halfway through our meal our beautiful waiter approached and we have actually talked about the most recent reviews of the place and its history. Very well-trained young lady and worked there for 2 years. She introduced us to the new owner What Luck! Where we have also had a nice conversation and also the topics of mixed reviews and what they do to improve. To wrap this up, this was my first time here, the second time my wife and we loved it. The food is great, timely and a relaxed environment. We will return here to try the BBQ next and look forward to it. I recommend this place in any case and I even ask others who 's experience was 't so good to give it a try/(again) and please support this place by there's change and give your feedback, even personally, to the staff, so you can help them improve, or let them know how big a work they do. Avoid if you are not local and they know you are out of town. They'll keep you waiting for your food forever. The young manager along with the rest of the children on the back had fun.

Food was great, just a little expensive. Sorry, but $4 for an extra side item? No, it won't go back. Over $75 for 3 people, much too much in today's environment. The place was not very busy, and the server was almost unavailable.

This resturaunt has the most amazing fried chicken salad I have ever eaten. The rest of the menu looks just as delicious. The servers are polite and very sweet. The food arrives quickly. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely be returning

Is this even bbq? There was no smoke flavor to the brisket. The sauce was watery and lacking in flavor. The cole slaw was pretty good and the staff was super friendly. It also looked like a nice place. Maybe this was weak because I caught them late and maybe this isn?t their specialty but based on this dish this place would never make it where I?m from.
