Great beer and really good burger!! Blan Scott Band was also really good! Nicest guy you'll ever meet!!

Came through Abilene with some friends and stopped here for the reviews because it really did Look amazing… I’m actually convinced now that the reviews are fake or maybe just that no one has actually had good beer or good customer service? I guess it’s decent for a small town brewery but it can’t compete with the bigger cities.

My father I stopped in when we were visiting Abilene for work. We met Will Nicole! They were so kind and gave us an amazing list of places to eat, things to do, and stores to visit. Best visit to a brewery EVER!The atmosphere is amazing, the history of the building is interesting, and the beer is delicious! We got flights and Will was very patient with our indecision, even offering guidance as needed.Overall, if I find myself revisiting Abilene, Sockdolager will be one of my first stops!

Food, beers, sports on TV, huge outdoor patio, events... great atmosphere and great company. Something new and refreshing for Abilene.
