Decent food but wait is usually pretty long even for takeout. The dried claypots are especially of note
Don 't let the pretty dining room fool you!! Food was expensive and unremarkable. Two dishes were oily and overly salty, fried wontons were filled with pork that tastes exactly like cheap supermarket breakfast sausage, and the vegetable egg rolls were mushy and did not taste fresh at all. One dish was ordered non spicy, and was brought out very spicy. When I mentioned it to the waitress she was unconvinced and didn 't offer to replace it. I suggested she taste it herself and she simply shook her head no . Honestly, the best part of the meal was the hot tea. I ended up paying full price and will not return. Go to 101 Noodle Express next door much better food and excellent service for less money.
I love the beef broccoli, the lettuce wraps are great, also the eggplant with basil and tofu are one of a kind, chicken with mushrooms are also a great choice!!!
Chef Chen is my favorite go to chines spot in Concord. Used to be Golden City many Moons ago. The black noodles are the best EVER.
