We were a party of six. The biggest drawback of the evening is right from being seated we felt pressure to leave as quickly as possible. We barely had our menus for one minute and we were asked if we were ready to order. That...really opened the tone for the evening. Considering we arrived right on time for our 6:00 seating we shouldn’t have be made to feel like we really weren’t being appreciated as customers. Other actions were taken by the waiter that continued to enhance that we were “being processed” simply as a financial transaction. Moving along the food was pretty good but not outstanding. 3 of us had the Portugese chicken . I had the seafood mix which was quite plentiful and tasty.

Friendly service delicious food! We had the Prato do Pescador (Fisherman’s Dish) and loved it. Our friends had Grilled Sardines and cod and were equally happy. Not a cheap restaurant, but the price is low for the quality of the food.

We stopped in after a concert and walking by around 10 at night the place was very busy. The waiter came to us and promised to get us seated. A couple of minutes later, we were at a very comfortable table. My spouse saw a...plate that appealed to her at the table next to us and she asked the waiter what it was. ... seafood rice. We asked for that and for 2. The waiter promised also that he will take care of the wine. When he returned, his wine selection was spot on. Then we received each a very good salad, a bowl of succulent olives, and a basket of portuguese bread. Then the seafood rice dish happened . Rice in a tasty seafood broth loaded with: scallops shrimps oysters clams mussels squid calamari langoustines a whole lobster Then, dessert, coffee and port. And best of all, the well known portuguese hospitality!!! We had the greatest meal in a long time, seafood well prepared in a wonderful restaurant with superb staff and clients too!!! The surprise ending the evening at 1 in the morning.... the bill was small. This is surprisingly GREAT VALUE for the food and service. We will return and big thanks to all. Thank you.

Since we arrived in time for our 6:00 seats, we should not feel as if we were not appreciated as customers. Other measures were taken by the waiter, who further strengthened that we were ‘processed’, simply as a financial transaction.
