However, on Google it is still recognizing this as the Texas Mesquite BBQ and Grill.The food was terrible. But the only decent food to eat there was the fries and the sausage. This place is a disgrace to BBQ especially in Texas. Will not recommend to others and will DEFINITELY NOT be coming back.
The brisket was good. They were out of french fries. I don't understand how anyone can be out of french fries. The fried pickles I ate instead were quite good. They serve battered onion rings which my wife really enjoyed. I would eat there again.
We tried their brisket and sausage today for the first time, very moist, tender, and tasty. Very impressed with both and without a doubt some of the very best Texas has to offer.
Texas Mesquite BBQ is now called Diana's, and they've still got all your favorite meats by the pound: sliced or chopped Brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, and pork ribs. Classic sides are available, along with some house-made cobblers and other special desserts. On the sandwich menu, get any of these meats on a bun with pickles chips for under $11. They also have burgers, patty melts, po-boys. The buns for these are super fresh tasting and slightly sweet. A full bar is at your service. Vegetarian options: Honey this is a BBQ meat house, but if you're comfortable eating just sides and desserts you won't go away hungry. For anyone on a liquid diet, the bar is fully stocked.
Great little restaurant with a dive bar feel.We are in town for a short weekend, and wanted to eat close to the AirBnB.Two sisters with a young lady who said she is the daughter of the owner are running this place!! Just the sweetest and friendliest women. Best service and just so helpful.We were so confused in trying to find the location— (hint-it’s to the right of the big wooden restaurant . I am including pics of the outside to help you all find it. This is where the old adage is true. Don’t judge a book by its cover, and don’t judge a restaurant by the outside.I really hope this place could be featured on diner’s drive in’s and dives!!! This would be on the list if Guy Fieri found it.First-the hamburgers are the best my husband and I have ever eaten!!!! $12.99 with fries and a soda, talk about cheap!!!!The ciabatta buns and hand made Patties, the hand cut fries and onion rings—oh my gosh yummy. My husband whom is fit as a fiddle and eats healthy, it was so funny to see him enjoying himself, he even ate my son’s leftovers; Second—the only complaint—is that they don’t know how to cut brisket!! With the grain is a big no no!!! Ladies!!! Against the grain!!!! Brisket was dry too, so that was my only complaint.Loved this place we will be back! Kid-friendliness: Ask them to change the channels if it’s inappropriate they gave us the remote;
