Feedback gevenShowed up at 9:30pm Friday night and they said they wouldn?t take our order because they were cleaning up and closing?.. they close at 10. So they denied taking our order so they could go home early. It sucks when you take time to drive out to get icecream from here and they close whenever they feel like.
Honestly we have had bad experiences the last 3 or 4 times we have ordered from this Dairy Queen via either online or door dash with urgent delivery. The shakes are always soupy, which shouldn't be happening ever, the fries are often old, and today, whenmy husband arrived 6 minutes after making the order, they began putting the order in a bag, had accidentally melted the lid ofthe salad, it spilled into the bag when he placed it in, and the manager was huffy about his request to remake it since it wasspilled into the bag while the order was being put together. Then as he finished gathering the order, they informed him theywere out of cheese curds and he would have to figure out an alternative. When he got home a few minutes later, we found oldfries and completely soupy shakes, again. We had given the benefit of the doubt and tried other means of getting our order, buthonestly it feels like quality has gone down these past few months. Not impressed.
Check your food before you leave because orders have been wrong the past 3 trips. Also the burgers are at room temperature 90% of the time even when you receive it quick from the stove (rarity) since it sits ?near? the heat lamp, but not under, whileeveryone is standing around talking. Call them for accurate close times and don?t go by the website since they always say theirshorthanded with 8 people standing around chatting, eating, or on their phones. Cashiers are almost always super friendlythough. Not one thing stated was even a slight exaggeration. You?ll see for yourself.
The Ice Cream is kind of hard to mess up at DQ, but it?ll be melted before you get your food. I?ve never left a negative review before, but it took an hour from the time we got in line until we got our food (inside the store). There was only 1 person aheadof us in line?20 minutes to order and another 40 to get cold hamburgers and fries (they didn?t even microwave it-as noted in aprevious review). I?m always patient with the young kids working, but they need some more help, better processes, urgency, or anew manager. No apologies were given, but I guess I shouldn?t complain too much since this is the first time they?ve gotten ourorder correct.
I love the onions rings from here! The drive thru line always takes forever. No, I'm not being dramatic. It literally takes FOREVER! You'd probably get your ice cream faster and be home sooner if you drove to the nearest Arctic Circle instead (15 minaway). The menu board wasn't lit on our visit so I had to shine my camera flashlight on it. It seems like they are unable tomultitask when taking orders and at the window.
