The Wagon Wheel - Eagle Pass

The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the Jumbo Nachos, Tacos, and the two-meat plate. I'm usually quite a picky eater, but I finished everything on my plate. The meat was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. The highlight of our visit was the lovely owner, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu. She even let me sample the potato salad before I decided to order it. Additionally, she surprised us with some homemade doughnuts on the house for our kids. Her warm hospitality made the meal even better. If you're in search of a great grill, this is definitely the place to try!

Went for the first time to lunch with my spouse and baby daughter. Food was amazing and one of the owners was very friendly in welcoming in as first time customers. Only downside is that we didn’t get to try their peach cobbler (which I had heard many positive comments about) because they ran out. They sell out fast! But will definitely be going more often.

Stopped by while in town for the day and had a wonderful conversation with the owner and equally amazing meals for two of us of the brisket sandwich with a side of beans and a potato with brisket and cheese, with a side of Mac and cheese. You can tell the meal was going to be delicious when the sweet tea is perfect with two lemon slices. Cannot recommend The Wagon Wheel enough.

Wagon Wheel is truly a hidden gem, and I genuinely believe it's the highlight of my trip to Eagle Pass. You might overlook it if you're not careful, so make sure to slow down and keep an eye out! They offer an incredible variety of smoked meats, including brisket, turkey, chicken, and pork. Plus, you can try sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, loaded baked potatoes, nachos—the options are endless!

I drove here from San Antonio and had no idea where to eat. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I'm really glad we chose this place; everything we ordered was delicious. We had a brisket baked potato, ribs, brisket, rice, potato salad, and mac and cheese—the food was fantastic! I will definitely make this a stop next time I’m in the city.
