Feedback gevenQuiet for a Friday night that was nice for us. Fast service and our server, Toni, were tops. Witty, fun, sharp and up on things beyond and beyond. After leaving the bartender, he was great. Havent had so long service, it was a treat. Eating decent, not spectacular, but good.
We arrived on Saturday and we look forward to seeing the Kentucky Derby on several large TVs around the bar. We sat at the bar above and were greeted by a friendly bar call that made us delicious drinks. When we ordered the boneless wings as an appetizer, the bar informed us that she was happy hour! SCORE! We ordered the spicy Asian chili taste and they were delicious! We loved that they were not overly baked and freshly tasted, not frozen. Both meals were also delicious. My friend ordered “the original” and she loved the finger steaks. She had the same comments as the wonderful wings. Thanks for the delicious dinner and fun place to watch the race!
It's been a while since I stopped and had a bite and someone heard how they had rebuilt for a while, so I thought it was time to take a summit. The remodel has become good! Basically the same layout and another color scheme. Today we tried the street tacos and fingers steaks. Both were good, but a little was missing. The chicken was only diceed chicken without a ton of taste, but it was tender. The rest of Taco was really good with some good spices and flavors. The Maistortillas were heated and crispy, which was a nice touch. The finger steaks were super delicate, but a little on the dough was undercooked and on the wound side. Service was amazing and friendly!
The reuben was delicious. The Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger was better than average. The restaurant is rustic home loud.
This place is about as hit and miss as you can get. Like many of the other reviews state, they are severely understaffed and mismanaged. Most of the time, decent food and a good beer selection. Today was bad. Their credit card system was down and they don't have an ATM. Really not a problem except that they weren't providing this information until it was time to pay. Either the host/hostess or waiter/waitress should be leading with this or there should be obvious signage. We didn't have enough cash on us. The waitress said she'd try to take our payment info manually with an old knuckle buster. It literally took her like 45 mins of chatting it up with other patrons and staff before she just told us she couldn't find it. We wrote her a business check. The food was just bad. The roast beef had the texture of a sleep over outside of the fridge. Super dry, closer to jerky. The burger was not done as requested (they ask how you like them). It came over cooked. Look, I'm not big on writing bad reviews, but when your food sucks and your lack of service costs us way more than the bill because we had to sit around and wait for a solution rather than get back to work, I have to point it out. Will not be returning anytime soon and hope it was just a bad day for them. Good luck guys, hoping someone is gonna step it up.
