Ordered a pound of burnt ends for wife I. We took what we couldn’t eat home. They were cold when they came to our table. Lots of flys. But I think it’s that time of year. Won’t be back.
This is the best BBQ I've ever had, and I've tried BBQ in five different states! When you arrive, you'll be treated to a sample of their back ribs, and you'll be completely hooked—it's that good! My personal favorite is the combination of half burnt ends and half baby back ribs, which comes with incredible side dishes. The baked beans are packed with various meats and could easily be a meal on their own. The only downside is that, after their recent price hikes, it can be pretty pricey. However, every visit is a delicious experience worth it!
Great BBQ in Idaho. I'm from Texas, and this place takes me home when we visit. Best BBQ we have found in Eagle. Never leave hungry and always mouth watering no matter what we have!! The Ribs are my Fav with the baked beans and sweet potatoes Pretty Pricey though.
Upon arrival, my first indication that something might be off was the lack of smoke in the air—something you typically expect at a BBQ joint. The interior was spacious and well laid out, featuring plenty of tables in an open concept design. I think it would benefit from having more TVs for sports, as the single TV present wasn’t even tuned to the Sunday morning football game. The ordering process was straightforward at the walk-up counter, which offered a wide selection along with a few daily specials. I ordered the burnt ends and a half rack of ribs, choosing onion rings and coleslaw as my sides. The food came out quickly, but it became clear that it had been reheated. While the ribs had a nice smoke ring, they were only lukewarm. The variety of BBQ sauces available was a highlight for me, particularly the spicy and Carolina options. The burnt ends were decent but not as tender as I would have liked; they should have been meatier and softer. As for the sides, I enjoyed the coleslaw, but the onion rings were frozen. They were cooked well, but that frozen aspect detracted from the overall experience. Overall, the food felt more reminiscent of a Dickey’s BBQ rather than an authentic experience, although the BBQ sauce selection somewhat compensated for it. I might return during the week to see if the food is fresher then. What really lowered my opinion of the place, however, was the behavior of the staff on Sunday, September 24th. While they were friendly when taking my order, I found their loud, unprofessional comments and cursing distracting and inappropriate, especially since other patrons noticed. It reflected a lack of leadership and professionalism. Despite these issues, I have higher hopes for the future and intend to give it another shot, as I'm eager to find another reliable BBQ option in the Treasure Valley.
