The Flats 16 Event Center - Eagle

Flats 16 is a really nice place to visit. While the food was decent, it didn't stand out as exceptional. However, our server last night was fantastic. I noticed the bar didn't have any coffee options for hot drinks, like Spanish or Irish Coffee, nor did they offer Hot Chocolate with alcohol. This seems like a missed opportunity, especially in Idaho during winter. They might want to consider updating their menu or making some seasonal adjustments.

I recently discovered this hidden gem that I never knew was there. I often drive by the golf course but never noticed the restaurant right on the corner. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Everything we ordered came out quickly and tasted amazing! I will definitely make a point to stop by next time I'm heading to Emmett. I highly recommend The Flats 16 Restaurant.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and there was only one bartender on duty, who did an excellent job taking care of us. I ordered a sandwich while a family member chose a salad, and we all really enjoyed our meals. The interior has TVs, and the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful.

Hate to leave bad reviews, but needed to let local public know my husband got severe food poisoning here after an early Father's day meal on Saturday. Steak Tacos- was violently ill for 48 hrs. Coming from someone who very rarely is ever sick. Verydisappointing to the tune of $70! Luckily me and my 2 year old and 11 month old didn't eat anything! I tried a bite and spit itout bc it tasted so awful. WARNING- CONSUME AT OWN RISK. or better yet AVOID THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! I contacted the manager tolet her know and she was not very helpful at all. Submitted food poisoning to CDC Idaho. hopefully in efforts to protect othersfrom getting sick!

Very Disappointed, and LOOK AT YOUR BILL VERY CLOSELY BEFORE YOU SIGN IT! I don 't normally bother with posting reviews unless something is REALLY BAD. The Shrimp Stir Fry was mostly white rice with a few vegetables around it 1/2 dozen mid size staleshrimp, my mixed drink was in the smallest goblet I have ever seen, and my wife had to remove the pulled pork out of the corntortillas smothered with unions to try to enjoy her snack . We were both very hungry, so we did our best to enjoy what we had,and not to complain. But then the service was so very slow; the young waitress was toting her four year old son around with herfrom table to table which was cute, but it just made everything a little slow). Still not complaining, we just had to waitagain for quite a while to pay for our meal and we hardly saw our waitress in between, and even after we had already receivedour bill $51.41) which sat there for another 10-15 minutes. I still wouldn 't have bothered to post this review, EXCEPT whenthe waitress FINALLY came to take my card she unilaterally added a 25% tip to the total before handing it to me to sign. Iwas going to leave cash on the table but she had coyly added the tip herself, which wasn 't the worst of it... what was worst,was that she tried to HIDE the tip entry with her hand over the device, while she handed it to me so I could sign it. That partof the TOTAL that I could see was ALSO suggesting that I press a button for AN ADDITIONAL 20% or 30% tip. I took the devicefrom her hand, looked at the total, realized she had ALREADY tipped herself, and rather than make a scene in front of her littleboy I just signed it... 25% is about 5-10% more than I usually leave for mediocre service; it was just really annoying that shehad already tipped herself and somehow decided that I had STUPID written on my forehead, and I wouldn 't NOTICE that she wastrying to get ANOTHER 20-30% ON TOP OF THAT! Go to Golden Corral in Nampa, it 's only 10-15 minutes
