We celebrated my father's 90th birthday at this restaurant and they prepared a lovely lunch for us, making it a very special occasion. We highly recommend The Plough, as it is just as good as it was 35 years ago - not many places can claim that level of consistency!

Came here with wife and kids just over a year ago and it was my first ever visit to this place. We ordered food, I ordered an Ale and the Mrs ordered a glass of Wine. I must say, the Professional staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable. The meals were cooked to perfection and the best we've had in a very long time. Thanks guys!

We had a cracking Sunday roast yesterday. The family chose different roasts including chicken, beef and pork and all were very tasty. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. The bar menu is also good.

We had the best shepherds pie ever, like grandmothers do, made with fresh ingredients and for what we tried we can say that they are doing quite well in the kitchen. Good beers and good vibe in the venue, chilling atmosphere and a beautiful outside space. The staff is nice and polite but if some of them would be more hospitable and friendly and less shy it would be the top.
