The entrance may not look very appealing, as it is quite narrow, but once inside, the restaurant is clean and tidy with space for about 16 people. Despite its small size, the quality and quantity of the food more than make up for it. The five of us (3 adults and 2 children) were all very happy with our meal. The menu is available in both Polish and English, and they also offer daily specials. The children enjoyed chicken nuggets with homemade nuggets and fries, while we had three types of soup, beef goulash, chicken breast with cheese and mushroom topping, and pierogi. The portions were huge and the food was fresh and delicious. We were so full that we even needed to take some home in doggy bags. Although they were out of cheesecake and apple pie, we enjoyed a delicious strawberry dessert and the youngest child (4) had three freshly made pancakes with chocolate. The staff were friendly and we will definitely be returning. We dined at 4:30pm and there was a steady stream of takeout orders being picked up, which is no surprise given the excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.
What is it that draws polish restaurants/ delis etc to Greenford circle. A tiny restaurant serving large portions of wholesome polish foods at very reasonable prices. This place is worthy of a visit.......and I will be visiting again.
A straight forward restaurant with true traditional Polish food. All very tasty and filling. Daily menu at Polish prices. The service is quick and friendly. Can't go wrong. Thank you
I always opt for delivery from this restaurant and the food always arrives deliciously and promptly, usually within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Oldfield Circus in Greenford is like little Poland. There's a Polish Supermarket, Polish Bread and Cakes, Polish Deli, Polish Accountant, Polish Hairdresser, and now with the arrival of Zloty Kurczak (translation: Golden Chicken) a couple of years back, there are now two really fine places to enjoy proper food. If you blink, you'll miss it it's a tiny half a shop width, but extends back quite a way so seats about 20 25 (they do take aways and deliver too). Still it's small and cosy. But my goodness it's BIG on flavour. If flavour equated to size, it'll be bigger than the Empire State building. The (typically Polish) Beetroot Soup is to die for. I've always maintained my mother cooked the best Beetroot Soup in the world and nothing ever came even remotely close, but if I close my eyes I'm taken back fifty years to my childhood. It's not just good, it's brilliant. The double hamburger (OK not really Polish) with Onion Rings and Chips came served on a slate. I don't care what anyone says, the finest restaurant in the land couldn't have presented it better. And for £5? Are you kidding? Yes, a fiver! There's a daily special that costs between £4 £5 for two BIG courses of deliciousness. Doesn't matter what you chose from the menu, it's all good, the portions are hearty, but above all it TASTES wonderful. Forget everything else, just come for the FOOD, close your eyes and enjoy the flavours. Cleanliness? spotless. Service? courteous. Prices? ridiculously good value for money for what you get. The guy stuffing his face in the corner? that's probably me.
