A beautiful, hidyhole. perfect for fine dining and relaxing area at the bar. highly recommended. eating is absolutely stunning.

It wasn’t one of my usual spots, but today I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! We enjoyed one of the most delicious meals we've had in a long time from the lunch menu. The value was exceptional, and every dish was absolutely delightful. The service was excellent, particularly from Ollie, who is clearly at the top of his game, as well as a friendly and efficient waitress whose name I can't recall (no excuses there!). I'm truly amazed that this place isn’t included in the Michelin guide. Both the restaurant and the staff checked all the boxes for us. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we loved it!

Excellent, social service by the team. the food is cooked to order and we had pork in apple sauce and a Venison bee with maic and black carrots. then we had both date and toffee pudding, all were delicious in the did so well, we booked Sunday dinner many thanks to the jockey, great atmosphere, great look with a warm feeling around the pub and restaurant. everyone should go

The restaurant has a delightful ambiance and friendly staff, particularly our waitresses Jane and Ian. They created a beautiful birthday experience for me! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! "Liebling" doesn't even begin to describe it! Absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to return!

We escaped the bad weather and enjoyed a lovely and cosy family meal here today. Every dish was served promptly and the food was superb. The staff were smartly dressed, polite and friendly, and an added bonus is that they are dog friendly in the bar area. Cannot wait to come back again soon.
