Hero Sushi Cairns - Earlville

I had a disappointing experience at Hero Sushi Night Market. They didn't have teriyaki, which was frustrating, and the girl behind the counter seemed unhelpful. I noticed they were offering regular fresh sushi, so I asked if they could make a Teriyaki chicken roll. The staff member looked annoyed by my request and then said I could only get it if I ordered two rolls, which I agreed to. After some time, she quoted me an extra 50 cents, which was off-putting. The other sushi we tried, the peri peri chicken from the display, was inedible! I had to throw it out because it was tough and tasted strange. As a family that frequently enjoys sushi, and with someone in our household working as a sushi cook, I was genuinely disappointed. I won't be coming back.

Why does an airport branch close at 3:30 PM? By that time, there was very little selection left, and even though they were preparing food for the next day, they still refused to make an avocado roll. Now I have a hungry toddler who I promised would have sushi for dinner. Please reconsider your opening hours for an airport location. What about all the passengers on afternoon and evening flights out of Cairns?

Awful customer service along with hygiene...I saw one of the chefs leave the toilets wearing gloves and then proceed to serve customers without washing his hands
