El Magey Mexican Buffet

The best Mexican buffet in Louisiana since Pancho’s closed down. You need to ask your server for guacamole, chips and salsa, tortillas, and ice cream, but everything else is self serve. The food is delicious! If I ate here as much as I truly wanted to, I would weigh 450lbs.

I've been going to this restaurant for roughly 10 years. At least seven or eight. Most of the time the service is fantastic. Some of the servers even recognize me and say hello when I come in. The food is great. The price is reasonable. Place is always clean. Highly recommend checking the place out. My only issue is that one particular server seems to provide really bad service every time I come in. It's the reason why I'm giving four stars instead of five. With every visit, she will bring the chips and salsa out then completely disappear until it's time for the check. No refills. No checking in to grab extra plates. Today, she spilled about a half dozen drinks at a nearby table and never came back until I was about to leave. I asked for a check and she said okay then disappeared again. I ended up walking to the front. Perhaps she just hasn't been trained well. Maybe there is some sort of other issue. She seems very nice, but definitely provides really bad service. Hopefully that will get fixed because I really love going here and would like to continue to do so.

Bruh, some of the most best and authentic Mexican food. I have had in a very long time. If you love Mexican food, I would highly recommend going to establishment. Friendly employees, great food. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Just an amazing atmosphere would give more than five stars if I could

Good food, good varity and nice atmosphere. The buffet is very expensive during the week, evenings and weekends cost more for the buffet. Drinks like all restaurants are pricey. Its nice to dine here occasionally , you get desserts and ice cream plus fruit with the buffet.

We haven't been in here since the 2010s, and we decided to stop in. The food was great, the employees were all extremely nice as well and it was very clean! Our waitress was Norma and let me tell you, she is the BEST!!! She has the best personality, is so kind and friendly, and we never had to ask for anything, she would appear with it before we needed it! I hope this gets back to Norma, and we hope to see her soon! Dietary restrictions: They have several vegetarian options on the buffet along with a salad bar, and on the menu.
