Chili's Grill - East Brunswick

Absolutely awful experience. Cocktails were dreadful and overly sweet. Nacho appetizer was unappealing and tasteless. Didn't even eat entrée because my chicken was overcooked and the vegetables were raw after waiting an additional 10 minutes for mymeal compared to the others at my table. Staff unprofessional and inconsiderate. Will never go to this location again. Chili'shas gone downhill.

The food was delicious fresh guacamole and flavorful food. The only thing is the Waiter forgot my Bean but great service.

As an appetizer, we had the bottomless chips with salsa. The chips were quite good and appeared to be freshly fried. However, we were disappointed with the salsa; while it had a nice flavor, it lacked any spice. My wife appreciated that it was puréed since she doesn't like chunks of onions and peppers. The fries that came with our burgers were a letdown as they were cold, which is a major disappointment for us. Everyone enjoys hot, crispy fries with their burger, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. Would I return? Maybe...

During my most recent order, I placed it and immediately called to make a customization since the app doesn’t allow for that. To my surprise, they told me my order was already completed, despite having just placed it seconds earlier. I tried to explain that it shouldn’t have been done so quickly, but the person hung up on me. When I called back, they answered but then hung up again. On my third attempt, they deliberately didn’t pick up the phone. This is the first time I’ve encountered issues like this with them. Eventually, my mom called to inquire about the order, and a man said it had been picked up. However, the DoorDash app still indicated that it was being prepared, and I didn’t even have a driver assigned yet. It felt like they were simply making excuses to avoid accommodating my request. I explained how I was treated and what happened, but he seemed indifferent. Having worked in the food industry myself across various departments, I know this is not how to treat a customer, especially someone who frequents your establishment. I simply made a straightforward request, even willing to pay extra for it. Now, I’m hesitant to eat my food because of the unpleasant treatment I received over the phone.

I'm not sure why I don't visit this place more frequently. The food is consistently delicious, and I appreciate that it’s never too crowded. The service is usually quite good as well. My favorites are always the southwestern eggrolls and the original chicken fingers with honey mustard. And I can't forget to mention how amazing their corn is too!
