Bear Den Lounge At Burke Mountain Resort

The Burke Mountain Hotel is a stunning establishment set in a beautiful landscape. We visited on August 22nd, just a day or two after the Burke Enduro World Series mountain bike event. Although the staff seemed a bit worn out, they remained friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of space to relax, and the beds were comfortable. Dining at the “View Pub” was a delightful experience, even though we arrived just before closing time. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert and enjoyed friendly conversations with the staff.

Burke Mountain is one of the most popular mountain biking destinations in the Northeast, and it boasts one of the most renowned ski schools in the country. I stayed in a suite that included a bedroom, two flat-screen TVs, a gas fireplace, and a kitchen equipped with various furnishings and utensils, as well as a coffee machine and refrigerator. There are plenty of areas both inside and outside the hotel for guests to sit back and relax. While I enjoyed some downtime, I noticed several hang gliders soaring above the summit of Burke Mountain! As I write this review, I’m planning to return to Burke in just seven days! I only gave four stars due to the limited parking near the hotel. Although the walk from the overflow parking lot isn’t too far, it could be a bit inconvenient for some guests.

The rooms at the burke mountain hotel are surprisingly beautiful and are very good! I was here a few times and always chose the 1 or 2 bedroom suites because they come with a large living room and full kitchen. the hotel is a fast 7-minute drive from the city, where the most important restaurants and cycle routes are located, very convenient. the only part of the hotel is that parking is very limited. there are only 1 row of parking places right next to the entrance. if they are full, they have a walk to the overflow. look at the view pub in the 2nd or 3rd floor for a drink and a bite!

Superb staff, nice rooms, fantastic location. There are on-site restaurants that turn out some delicious food. The bars are lively and they serve some really good specialty cocktails. The Bees Knees was great (thanks Heath)! We were here for the 2022 Rasputitsa and they really took good care of all of the participants!
