Highly recommend the takeaway service. Food was really tasty and service was excellent. Booked a slot for collection at 5:50pm and it was being boxed within a couple of minutes of my arrival. Really good to see Matt Mel restore the pub to its former glory.

Just had 4 meals for our Saturday night treat and not a scrap left for Izzie and Bernie ,our two dogs are not happy we have eaten the lot .Really enjoyed the selections and would recommend .Tony and Karen

You can’t be charging £9.00 for Fish and Chips and expect a family to be able to afford this. This is more expensive than any average fish-shop price, and about on par with what a small dine-in restaurant would charge. Except, you’ve got to eat this out of a box. For £9.00, you need to be serving something pretty special, not McDonalds style chips and skinned bit of cod ... Sorry but you are over-charging! Triple cooked chips, and more of them ... Larger cleaner, fish? Minted Peas? Sauces?

Nice take away treat during lockdown! Ordered two gluten free fish and chips this evening as a take away and was the best gluten free meal we had out. Excellent fish and crispy batter and the chips were amazing. Rare find and we look forward to going back.

Beautiful pub in a lovely setting. Delicious Sunday roasts. Everything was perfect and puddings were amazing too. Great atmosphere. Definitely plan to return. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
