The Fish House Ely

A great spot to either eat indoors or outdoors. Very tasty and hot and great with a chilled bottle of coke. The fish house is so conveniently located as it is right in the city square, perfect for having a break from enjoying the market stalls and all the shops.

The best fish and chip shop ive ever been to eat in or outside cant get any better than that the place is so clean staff are as good

We had gone to get cash, as they don’t take cards. We then spotted Wildwood and chose to go there instead. After waiting 50 minutes with no food arriving, we left and went to the Fish House as we’d originally planned. Service amazing! We ate in and food arrived in less than five minutes. Fish was superb! Batter fluffy and crispy. Chips perfect. My wife had steak and kidney pie which was good. So impressed!

About 5 years since my last visit,but the fish chips as good if not better than last time.The price may have gone up,but well worth the extra as a treat.Eating fish chips sitting in the sun people watching does not get better

My wife and I visited The fish house today and to be honest it was some of the best fish and chips we have ever had, we ate in the chippie, good service and as I said some of the best, probably not the cheapest but then we all know every where the price has gone up, good sized portions and crispy chips, would certainly return and recommend.
