Always great food nd I enjoy eating in the restaurant nice relaxed atmosphere Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered takeout from this restaurant for £79.00. The food arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes later, only lukewarm and with very small portions. The chicken tikka masala had very little chicken in each serving. When I called to complain, I was told to call back the next day because they were too busy to deal with my complaint. The portions were drowning in sauce and lacked flavor. The prices were too high for the quality of the food. I will not be recommending or ordering from this company again. They did offer a refund if I called back within 24 hours.
I had low expectations, but this restaurant was disappointing. Recently moved to the island and was excited to find a local halal Indian restaurant. However, the quality of the food was worse than I anticipated. The meat had a strange texture, with rubbery and tough lamb and microwaved chicken in the curry. The sauces were bland and overly salted, despite our request for extra spice. The naan was tough and chewy, and the person taking our order on the phone was dismissive. We won't be returning.
The lady in the lobby was lovely but the other person couldn’t care much for customer service really rude chap. Mixed tandoori was okay but the lamb was hard, couldn’t bite into most of it. Avoid egg fried rice tasted like raw tumeric mixed with rice so went straight into the bin. Restaurant didn’t have any cutlery in their take away. Given they knew we had a ferry to catch they could’ve mentioned this at the beginning it’s really a deal breaker when you order rice. It was a nightmare to convince my hungry kids to eat naan instead. Well, ended up having to search other places for cutlery which could’ve been avoided. Overall not worth it.
