South Beach Cafe - East Devon

Stunning view of the beach, we had heard that it was extremely busy, so a little before lunch arrived to avoid queens and was sitting immediately, eating was delicious it could not at all fail to fail, the cocktails were even more nice would recommend the jelly baby cocktail it is lush. fantastic service will go back before the holiday and would highly recommend visiting just be aware that there is a waiting time, depending on when they go, but the wait will be good worth it

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening with a pre-booked table. We were greeted and seated in a spacious restaurant, which was nice. The table service team was prompt in taking our orders. The food arrived in a timely manner, but unfortunately, it was nothing special. The half roast chicken I ordered was dry, so I had to ask for BBQ sauce. The garnish and chips were good though. Other guests also found their meals to be just okay. One guest received a cold vegetarian dish, which was replaced with a fresh order when informed. The guest mentioned that the new dish was warm but not hot. The prices were reasonable. I am not sure if the waitress took the vegetarian dish off the bill, but I think she did, which is great. The restaurant's location is excellent with a view of the cliffs and a lovely outdoor area. I would consider returning, but I wouldn't expect amazing food.

Great place to eat and drink. Service extremely good. Banging curry sauce! Special mention to Skye who deserves a bonus for putting up with 'old fella with the Stella '!
