The Bank, Exmouth - East Devon

I came to Exmouth for the weekend and stopped by The Bank restaurant. The staff and locals were very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my first visit so much that I returned the next day. Although it is a very sporty pub, which is not typically my scene, I found it to be quite relaxing and comfortable. The food was great value and there was plenty of it, along with good service. The wine was also reasonably priced. I will definitely visit again.

We frequently visit The Bank for a couple of drinks and to watch football. Sometimes we also have a snack. The service is always friendly and excellent. The restaurant is nicely laid out with many screens. If we are looking for more of a football atmosphere for the major games, we can easily go into Number 9.

Fourteen of us showed up without a reservation, including three children and a dog, so we had to sit outside. However, this was not an issue as the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was surprisingly cheap and we were not expecting the generous portions that we received. We enjoyed dishes such as pizza, chilli, bangers and mash, children's meals, and a perfectly cooked 10 oz Sirloin steak. The band started playing outside and everyone was smiling and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff were some of the most helpful I have encountered and despite being a sports pub, everything blended together seamlessly.

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon for a bit to eat. They have a large beer garden with plenty of seating (And umbrellas perfectly situated to cover almost the entire uncovered section for rain) There was live music, great service and the food portions were fab for the money, really couldn't fault any of it! Plenty of sauces in the cutlery bucket too. It is more of a sandwich/ wrap/panini/jacket spud kinda place but they do offer some pub favourites. We fed 14 of us for £75 (not including drinks) Would definitely recommend this place. They also offer sport on TV and a pool table side to the bar!
